Friday, April 30th the Acoustic Spotlight will feature a solo acoustic performance from Keegan Smith! Keegan and his band, The Fam, are on tour where he’ll be playing the Zebra, Thursday the 29th, noon tunes in the quad at MSU and Bobcat-Fest, Friday the 30th. He’s gonna stop by Music Villa on Friday at 3pm; play a couple tunes, answer a few questions, sign and sell some CDs, and just hang out in the store. They’ll start streaming his performance at 3pm sharp on Friday, April 30, 2010.

The song Smile was recently selected as finalists in the Pop/Adult Contemporary categories in the 11th Annual Great American Song Contest.

The Great American Song Contest was established in 1999 and is a highly respected, International songwriting event that songwriters around the world participate in. This year's songwriting judges consist of prominent music publishers, producers, recording artists and Grammy-nominated songwriters.

Keegan won three worldwide Effigy Awards for the categories of Best Adult Contemporary Act, Best Adult Contemporary Song ("Morning Comes"), and Best Reggae Song ("Just Fine").

Keegan's long awaited new album "Special Delivery" will be released Saturday, May 2nd at the Bagdad Theatre in Portland. The release will feature a live performance of all the songs from the album, as well as classics from his long standing repertoire.

The McMenamins brew pub will have food and drinks available for the duration of the performance. Tickets can be purchased from Keegan directly at one of our live performances, online through ticketmaster, or for a limited time, through this website.

A limited number of special VIP tickets are also being sold, offering entry to the show, a copy of the brand new album "Special Delivery", and complete access to the green room where the band will be hanging out and enjoying free food and drink all night long provided by the Portland City Grill, one of the finest restaurants in town.
