The Oregonian

We got a fantastic write up in the Oregonian this week. Titled "Keegan Smith's hugs, hellos bring in the fans", author Jason Simms gives a pretty insightful look into our Monday night shows at the Candlelight. He thoughtfully describes the atmosphere and interviews fans and random members of the audience. Check out the full article here.

Jason also mentions us in his blog, describing Monday nights as an "out of control dance party".

Saw Keegan Smith and the Fam today for the first time, at Pioneer Square toons at noon (Tuesday July 14th). Great sound, good energy, fun and relevant lyrics to life as it is. Very nice guy, talked to him afterwards. I just moved to Portland 8 weeks ago, we talked about the bay area where I'm from. Many songs reminded me of my vacations and time living in the virgin islands. Good on you Keegan Smith, enjoyed the show and will see more. Thanks for being a nice guy as well.

I was at the Candlelight July 27, 2009 a friend of mine that plays the Bass he invited me. I was kind of slowful about going, because it was a work night and I was little tired from the day. But when It was all said and done I went and I had a blast I saw my good friend Chris who plays the Bass and another friend I knew who plays the drums Tyrone. The sound and energy was bananas we were dancing and having a good ole time. Keegan he is awesome, and the twins great singers. OH my goodness I had such a blast of a time. I am happy to say that this group is off the hook, great sound and Mr. "Keegan knows he sounds like Wyclef.... You go BOOOOY *smiling* I will be attending more functions... you go DIRTY MILK I love you guys...
